How to Edit a Hybrid Webinar

 

You can edit a hybrid webinar to update its title, reschedule the session, modify presenters, or replace the video content. This helps you keep your webinar accurate and aligned with your latest plans.

 

Note: Hybrid webinars are created using the Live Webinar option and run using pre-recorded video content.

A product team notices outdated information in their upcoming hybrid webinar and quickly updates the video and session details before the start time to ensure attendees receive accurate, up-to-date content.

 

To Edit a Webinar:

 

1. Click My Webinars on the left menu.

 

 

2. Find and Edit Webinar

 

 

3. Edit the webinar details:

 

3.1: Rename or change the webinar title.

 

 

3.2: Update Roles:

 

 

 

 

3.3: Reschedule Date and Time: Modify the webinar date, start time, and duration. You can also change the default time zone from Account Settings.

 

 

Note: You can continue interacting with attendees even after the video ends. There is no duration limit for a hybrid webinar.

 


 

3.4: Video Files: Click Replace Video to update the video by selecting one from your Media Library or uploading a new file.
Supported formats include *.webm, *.mov, *.mp4, and *.m4v, with a maximum file size of 2 GB.

 

Note: You can change the video source at least 10 minutes before the webinar starts.

 

 

3.5: Save Changes

 

 

4. Archive Webinar: To cancel your webinar, you need to archive it. Click the three dots below the webinar title, then click Archive. For more details, see the relevant help article.


 

 

Recommendation: Before archiving the webinar, we recommend sending a custom email notification to your registrants to inform them that it has been canceled.

 

Click Save & Next to save your changes and move to the next step in the webinar setup process.

 

 

You can also click Skip & Finish to complete the update without configuring the remaining steps.
