How to Edit a Series Webinar

 

Update your series webinar by changing the titles, rescheduling sessions, or updating pre-recorded session videos.

 

Use Case:

 

A healthcare organization frequently hosts a series of educational webinars for medical professionals. They need to update the titles of upcoming sessions to reflect the latest topics, reschedule sessions due to speaker availability, and replace pre-recorded videos with updated content to ensure the information provided is current and accurate.

 

Benefits:

2. Improved Engagement: Keeping session topics and materials up-to-date ensures higher engagement and satisfaction from participants.

 

Editing webinar details

 

1. Navigate to My Webinars

  • Click My Webinars on the left menu.

 

 

2. Find and Edit Webinar

  • Locate the desired webinar, click Edit.

 

 

3. Edit Webinar Details

 

a. Series Title

b. Registration Type

c. Consists of 

d. Event is

e. Session Title

f. Roles

g. Scheduling

h. Video Files

i. Add Sessions

j. Cancel Webinar

 

a. Series Title: Rename or update the series title.

b. Registration Type: Change how attendees register:

  • One-Time: Attendees register once for the entire series.

  • Register Separately: Attendees must register individually for each session.

c. Number of Webinars: Update the total number of webinars included in the series.

d. Registration: Switch between free or paid registration. For paid webinars, integrate with Stripe first.

 

 

e. Session Title: Rename or change the session title.

f. Roles: Update presenters or co-hosts using the Roles dropdown. If the required user isn’t listed, click Invite New Roles next to the dropdown to invite users and assign roles.

g. Date and Time: Modify the webinar date, start time, and duration. You can also change the default time zone from Account Settings.
 

Note: The maximum duration depends on your plan.

 

  • Webinar Type: Change the webinar type if needed. Live is selected by default.


 

h. Video Files: Click Replace Video to update the video by selecting one from your Media Library or uploading a new file.
Supported formats include *.webm, *.mov, *.mp4, and *.m4v, with a maximum file size of 2 GB.

 

Note: Change the video source at least 10 minutes before the webinar starts.

 

 

4. Save Changes

  • Click Update Webinar.

 

 

Adding Sessions to the Series

 

1. Edit Webinar

  • Go back to Edit Webinar.

 

 

2. Add Session

  • Under Fill In Webinar Details, click the up arrow next to Consists of.

 

 

  • Scroll to the bottom to set the title and schedule for the new session.

 

 

3. Save Changes

  • Click Update Webinar.

 

 

Notification: Existing registrants will be automatically registered for new sessions.

 

Canceling a Webinar

  • Archive Webinar: Click the three dots, then Archive.

 

Recommendation: Send a custom email notification to inform registrants about the cancellation.
