Customize the email notifications sent to students upon registering for a course.
Example
Imagine you want to add a welcome note and a list of resources to the registration confirmation email your students receive. This guide will show you how to personalize these emails to enhance engagement and provide valuable information right from the start.
Benefits
Upon registration, attendees are automatically sent two key email notifications:
Course Registration Confirmation: sent immediately after registration

2. Course Information: sent immediately after registration.

Throughout the course duration, several automated emails are dispatched to keep attendees informed:
Step 1: Find the course for which you want to edit email notifications in My Courses then click Manage Course to the right of the course title.

Step 2: Click Email Notifications. This is where you can find and edit the registration confirmation email for the entire course.

From here, you'll find the email notifications for the course.

Step 1: Click Edit Email next to the notification you wish to change.

Step 2: Update the subject and message body as needed. Remember, only plain text formatting is supported.
Step 3: Use any of the tags on the right to automatically populate the email with course details. Click on a tag to add it to your email content.

Step 4: If you want, you can disable this email and prevent it from sending by clicking the Send this email notification toggle.

Or save this email as default for all future courses of the same type by clicking the Save this content for use in future courses toggle.

Step 5: You can also send a test email to yourself to see how it looks like. Click the Send Test Email button and it will be sent to your account email address.

Step 6: When you're done, click Save.

Step 1: From the email editor, click Reset to default below the email subject or/and below the message body.

When you're done, click Save.
This action will remove all your saved changes and will reset the email notification to the original content.
