How to Hide Attendee Count During Courses
During course sessions, you might want to keep attendee numbers private to create a focused and inclusive environment. This help article shows you how to hide the attendee count, ensuring privacy and reducing participant anxiety.
Example
Imagine you are conducting a sensitive training session where knowing the number of attendees might influence participant interaction or create anxiety among participants. By hiding these numbers, you can ensure that the focus remains on the content and discussion, promoting a more effective learning environment.
Benefits
- Enhances Privacy: Keeps participant numbers confidential, promoting a private and secure learning atmosphere.
- Reduces Bias: Minimizes any potential bias or anxiety that may arise from visible attendee numbers, ensuring that the focus stays on the session content.
- Increases Focus: Participants concentrate more on the discussion and less on the attendance statistics, leading to higher engagement and interaction.
To Hide the Attendee Count
Step 1: Accessing the Session Room:
- Navigate to the 'My Courses' section on your dashboard.
- Find the course you are conducting and click 'See All Sessions' next to the course title.
- Click on 'Go to Session Room' to enter the specific course session.
Step 2: The Configure Session Room Settings will pop up. Click Advanced Settings, then click the toggle for "Show attendees count in attendee page."
Step 3: You can also toggle this setting from the Chat area in the session room. Click the ellipsis (...) icon right underneath the Chat tab, then uncheck "Show attendee count."
Both registrant and attendee numbers will now be hidden from attendees and presenters while they remain visible from the host's side in the Studio.
