How to Upload & Play Videos During Live Courses 

 

Upload and play videos during live courses on WebinarNinja. Whether you're using videos from YouTube, your personal drive, or replays of previous sessions, this feature enhances your live teaching experience.

Imagine you are conducting a live cooking class and want to demonstrate a complex preparation step that was pre-recorded. Using this feature, you can seamlessly integrate that video into your live session, making it easier for your students to follow along.

Uploading Videos

 

You can upload videos either directly in the session room or in your media library before your session begins.

 

Note: Supported file extensions are WEBM, MOV, MP4, M4V up to 2 GB.

Playing Videos

 

Step 1: Click the Video icon on the left sidebar to open your video library.

Step 2: Choose a video from Uploaded, YouTube, or Replays then click Add Video.

Step 3: The video will immediately start playing on the main screen. Hover your mouse on the video and click the arrows or expand button over the recorded video stream if you want to make it fullscreen, hiding your live video stream (and any other stream).

Step 4: To exit fullscreen, click the arrows again.

Note: It's not possible to pause/play videos in a webinar.

 

Step 5: To stop the video or close the stream, click the Video icon on the sidebar.

Tip: While the video plays your students would still be able to hear you. If you want, you can temporarily mute your mic from settings.
