Change Your Avatar

Update your profile picture from your account.

Step 1: Click the Account Settings icon on the left menu or click the profile icon at the top right corner of the page, then click Account Settings.

Step 2: Click the Change Avatar icon.

Step 3: Click Add Image. You can use images in .jpg format up to 25 MB.

Step 4: A window will appear from which you can select a photo from your computer. Choose the one you want to use. Click the icons above your photo to crop, flip, rotate and zoom in/out before clicking Save.

A confirmation message will pop up and your uploaded photo will be immediately set as your avatar and saved in your account. You may need to refresh the page to see the changes.

Photos you uploaded will be saved on this page. You can select any saved images as your avatar by hovering your cursor over the image and clicking the check icon. Remove any saved image by clicking the trash bin icon.


Change Your Company Name

Update your company name

Step 1: Go to your Account Settings page.

Step 2: In the Company Name field, enter your company name.

Step 3: Click Update Settings.


Change Your Password

Update your password from within your account.

Step 1: Go to your Account Settings page.

Step 2: Under 'Account Settings', scroll down to change your password.

Step 3: On the 'New Password' and 'Retype New Password' fields, enter your new password.

Step 4: Click Update Password. A message will then be displayed confirming the change.


Change Your Account Email Address

Update the email address you use to log into your account.

Step 1: Go to your Account Settings page.

Step 2: In the Account Email field, enter a new email address.

Step 3: Click Update Settings.

Step 4: An email containing a validation link will be sent to your new email address. Click the link included in the email to validate your account and you're all set!

Note: Changing your account email address does not change where billing and app updates are sent to. To have your billing and mailing email address changed, contact us through live chat at the bottom right of this page or send us an email at support@webinarninja.com.


Change Your Display Name

Update the name by which you're known among your students and attendees.

Step 1: Go to your Account Settings page.

Step 2: On the Display Name field, enter your preferred name.

Step 3: Click Update Settings.


Change your Correspondence Email Address

Have students reply to email notifications at your preferred correspondence email address.

Email notifications are sent to your registrants with our built-in email marketing system. Replies to those email notifications will be sent to your correspondence address.

Step 1: Go to your Account Settings page.

Step 2: On the Correspondence Email field, enter a new email address. This can be different from your account email address.

Step 3: Click Update Settings.


Make Courses GDPR-Compliant

Require your students to confirm consent for receiving additional emails from you on CourseNinja.


In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), businesses and other organizations are required to be transparent regarding how they use customers' email addresses and other personal information.

This requirement is satisfied by getting your students to provide consent for receiving additional emails you may send in the future.

With CourseNinja, you have the option to enable Subscriber Consent. When this is enabled, your registrants will have to confirm their consent upon registering for your course.

How It Works

Your registrants will see the checkbox on the registration form for your course. To proceed with the registration, they must agree to the following:

The emails referred to here are:

  1. Auto-generated reminder emails from your course containing course details including the student's unique access link.

  2. Any additional email you may send in the future.

Enabling Subscriber Consent

Step 1: Click Account Settings from the left sidebar.

Step 2: Click GDPR Compliance.

Step 3: Click Show to everyone after they opt-in.

Step 4: Click Update Settings.

Change Your Date and Time Settings


Set the default timezone in your account, as well as the date and time format.

Step 1: Go to your Account Settings page and click Date and Time.

Step 2: Make changes to your preference.

Select your timezone region.

Specify your timezone.

Choose a date format.

Choose between a 24-hour or 12-hour time format.

Step 3: Click Update Settings.

These settings are now applied to your account. All of the dates and times throughout the platform will be displayed according to your settings.

The date and time on the registration pages for your courses are also shown according to your settings. However, visitors can convert the date and time to their timezone with a simple click.

Daylight Saving

Whenever Daylight Saving takes effect, the timezone in your account adjusts automatically. However, upcoming courses in your account will remain in their original schedule.

You will need to reschedule your courses when clocks are shifted.

For those who are in Arizona, USA where Daylight Saving is not observed, you can use the timezone, America/Phoenix -07:00 Mountain Time. It remains at -07:00 throughout the year.
