Supported browsers

This feature is supported in Chrome, Firefox, Edge (version 79+), and Safari (version 13+).

It is currently not supported in mobile browsers, Safari 12 and older on macOS, or non-Chromium versions of Microsoft Edge (versions prior to 79).

The Share Audio option is only available on Chrome and Edge (version 79+).

Sharing your entire screen

Ninja tip: Sharing your entire screen is best used when you have a dual-screen setup. You would share one screen to show your audience and the other screen is where you would put the Studio window and keep an eye out for chat messages and questions.

Step 1: Go to My Webinars to find your upcoming webinar. Click Enter Studio to the right of the webinar title.

Step 2: At any time before or during the webinar, click the screen share icon on the sidebar. You will be prompted to choose the display you want to share, whether it's your entire screen, a specific application window, or a browser tab.

Step 3: Choose the display you want to share. In the screenshot below, we chose to share the entire screen on Chrome.

You can also share computer audio while sharing your screen. Check the box for Share audio then click Share.

This is useful when playing a video on PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva, or any video from your computer when you share your screen.

The Share Screen stream is masked by default to minimize mirroring when sharing your entire screen. The mask is only visible to you. You can click Ignore to remove it.

You can also click the expand icon to maximize it and hide your camera stream and any others.

Below is what it will look like to the host; your audience will see whatever you've chosen to display (your entire screen, a certain window, or a certain browser tab). To exit fullscreen, click the arrows again.

You can now start presenting!

Click Stop Sharing when you’re done.

Share your iPhone/iPad screen on Mac

Use QuickTime to see your iOS device from a Mac computer. With the Share Screen feature, you can show it on a live webinar. This is great to use with drawing apps like Notability or GoodNotes for whiteboarding and annotation.

You will need your iPhone or iPad on iOS 8 or later and your Mac on OS X Yosemite or later.

You will also need a Lightning Cable to connect your iOS device to your Mac.

Step 1: Connect your iOS device to your Mac with a lightning cable.

Step 2: Open the QuickTime app on your Mac. Click File and select New Movie Recording.

Step 3: A recording window will appear. Click the down arrow next to the record button and select your iOS device under Camera.

You will then see the screen of your iOS device showing through the QuickTime window.

Step 4: In the webinar studio, click Share Screen on the left menu.

Step 5: Click Application Window, then choose the QuickTime window. Note that there’s no option to share audio from your iOS device with this method.

Step 6: The Share Screen stream will initially appear next to your camera stream. Click the expand icon over the Share Screen stream to make it fullscreen. To exit fullscreen, click the shrink icon in the top right corner.

Step 7: You can now start working on your iOS device and your attendees will see it through the webinar screen.

To stop sharing your screen, click Stop Sharing.
