New Security Feature: WebinarNinja registration pages now feature an extra layer of security. Registrants will be prompted to verify their email address with a randomly generated code before the registration is complete. This blog post explains our new 2-step verification feature.

Updated Subscriber Consent: With the update to the registration process, we've also made changes to the Subscriber Consent option for those who need their webinars to be GDPR compliant. Registrants will now be able to confirm consent right on the same page where they enter their registration details. See how it works in this help article.

WebinarNinja's Rapid Replay Technology™: Our fastest replay system ever! Your webinar replay recording is ready in seconds. By the time you ask, "Is my replay ready?", it's ready.

Add Registrants: Now, you can manually add registrants to your webinars by simply entering someone's name and email address. They will only have to click on a confirmation link to complete their registration, and they'll receive an email with webinar details and their unique access link. You can use this feature to bypass payment for paid webinars, giving the manually added registrants free access.

Share Screen with Audio: With Chrome, you can now share your computer's audio when sharing your entire screen or a browser tab.

Updated Share Screen Visibility: To help you be sure of what attendees are seeing when you share your screen, we’ve made our Share Screen overlay transparent and removable.

Updated Webinar Layout: When sharing your screen or presenting slides, WebinarNinja will now adjust the layout of your webinar to upsize the shared screen or slides, placing the your image on a smaller screen on the left side.

Studio Labels: It's now much easier to see all the options at your fingertips from the Webinar Studio, for example, changing the screen layout. This slight redesign makes the Studio interface much more intuitive, and even easier than ever.

Updated GDPR Disclosure: Wording on our GDPR Subscriber Consent Form has been updated to comply with the latest GDPR standards regarding consent to receive emails about your webinars.

Changing Plans & Proration Updates: You can now switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan and any applicable proration will be visible during checkout.

Configure Call-To-Action Button Texts: You can now edit the text of call-to-action buttons on webinar pages: "Register for free" and "Add to Calendar". You can also edit the copy on your registration pages, email reminders, offers, handouts, and buttons in any language, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew.

Updated Statistics: Post-webinar analytics for each attendee now include watch duration and replay attendance.

Real-Time Chat Replay: During replays of your live webinars, attendees will see the chat conversation unfold exactly as it did during the live broadcast, one comment at a time. It's just like being at the first broadcast!

Farewell, Dashboard: Once you log in, you’ll be taken immediately to your My Webinars page.

New Media Library: Keep all your images, video files, slides, and handouts, in one convenient, searchable place, hosted by WebinarNinja.

Co-Hosts are now Presenters: Designate a Presenter to have them speak on camera and share their screen.

Attendee Presenters: As Host, you can designate any live webinar attendee as a Presenter during the webinar.

More Presenters and Longer Duration Limits: Previously, all WebinarNinja plans allowed a maximum of 3 co-hosts and the webinar duration was limited to 2 hours. Now, presenter limits and webinar duration have been adjusted for each plan.

Mobile hosting: You can now host webinars from mobile devices. However, you cannot share your screen from it.

Improved mobile experience for attendees: An updated layout and design improves viewing and enables easier transition between the webinar stream and Chat area.

Upgraded streaming quality: For an even more crisp, high-definition experience.

Signal strength indicator: Hosts can now monitor their connection in the studio.

A/V testing: Test your audio and visual bitrates from the Studio settings window.

Upload videos for a live webinar: In addition to YouTube videos, you can now play videos from your Media Library or your own computer.

Questions, Polls, and Offers have moved: You can toggle between the Questions, Polls, Offers, Handouts, and overall Chat tabs, all of which are located on the right side of the page.

Upvote Questions: Attendees can upvote each other’s Questions in the dedicated Questions area, highlighting the most relevant or popular.

Pin chat messages: You can now pin important chat comments, so they’re not lost in the main chat area.

Private messaging: Attendees can chat privately with Hosts and Presenters via the Chat window. This feature can be disabled for attendees in Studio settings.

Attendees can request to present: You can allow Attendees to request your permission to become a Presenter. Grant and revoke Presenter permissions at any time during a webinar.

Timed polls: Formerly, Polls were visible to attendees throughout a webinar. Now, you can set specific times for Polls to appear.

Provide handouts: It’s now possible to provide downloadable files, like PDF and Word documents, to your attendees during the webinar.

Slide preview: From the Host’s view, slide presentations will display such that the Host can view past and upcoming slides, in addition to the slide currently visible to the audience.

Hotkeys for presenting slides: You can now use the SPACEBAR or ARROW keys on your keyboard to move through your slide presentation during a webinar.

New layout option: You can now split the screen between your camera feed and slide presentation vertically.

Advanced Studio settings: More Studio settings are included in one place.

New look and layout for the Statistics page:

  • Comprehensive statistics. You can now view statistics for all webinars, or all webinars of the same type, in a single snapshot of your overall webinar performance.

  • Registration Page visits. Track your traffic by viewing how many unique visitors came to each webinar’s registration page.

  • Engagement and Conversion graphs. Get a clear snapshot of how engaged your audience is, with graphic representations of overall clicks and other attendee activity.

  • Attendee-specific duration metrics. See how long each attendee stayed after joining your webinar.

  • Replay viewers. See which attendees watched your webinar replay, if you made one available.

  • Attendee-specific Chat metrics. See which attendees participated in the Chat for each webinar.

  • Attendee-specific Offer metrics. See which attendees clicked on your offer, broken down separately for live and replay attendees.

  • Handout metrics. See which attendees downloaded your downloadable Handouts, if applicable.

Custom Registration Forms: Add custom fields to all WebinarNinja signup forms. You can request (or require) literally any info you want from registrants. Learn more about that here.

On-site Registration Forms for Automated Webinars: The on-site registration form has been improved. You can now embed registration forms for Automated webinars on your own site, make changes without re-embedding, and all forms are reCAPTCHA enabled.

Archive Webinars: You can now archive webinars you no longer need and remove clutter from your account. Click here for more information.

Add a Facebook Pixel: With our Pro, Plus, and Power plans, you can now add a Facebook Pixel to your registration page and thank you page. Learn how to add it to your webinar here.

Spam Protection with reCAPTCHA: Prevent spam and protect your webinar from bots with Spam Protection. It's a simple checkbox to verify registrants. Here's a guide to enable it for your webinars.

All New Automated Webinars:

Updated Media Library: Now that you can upload your own videos into your WebinarNinja account, we also updated the Media Library. You can easily upload, preview and organize your videos along with your page templates and images right inside your media library.

Updated Series and Hybrid Webinars: We have updated our Series webinars and Hybrid webinars to allow you to upload your own videos straight from your computer to WebinarNinja. You can still choose to use a past webinar recording or a YouTube video if you wish. The choice is yours.

New direct integration with Constant Contact: We just partnered with Constant Contact to bring you a direct integration with WebinarNinja! The WebinarNinja Academy: As the "Netflix of webinars", it gives you on-demand access to webinar training topics ranging from sales & marketing to content creation & engagement techniques. Live Video Multi-Streaming: We have upgraded WebinarNinja to Live Video Multi-Streaming. This means when a you stream your live broadcast we will produce several live streams and give each of your attendees the stream that best matches their internet connection quality. Without multi-streaming, your broadcast quality can be dragged down by an attendee's poor connection. 

New Auto-Detect Time Zone Magic 💫: When people visit a WebinarNinja registration page, no matter where they are in the world, they will see a handy link under the webinar date and time. Clicking the link will allow the person to immediately see the webinar/date time in their local time on the same registration page. Click here for more info.

We now integrate with Drip: We worked closely with the Drip team to make sure we fully integrate directly with Drip. Now, you can add all your webinar registrants directly to your Drip account right inside of WebinarNinja! Click here for a guide to integrating with Drip.

Sharing your webinar just got easier: We re-engineered how you find your webinar links and share them with others to make it super convenient. Grab your webinar link and share it with others in one easy location on a My Webinars card. Click here to learn more.

Subscriber Consent Options (GDPR compliance): You can now ask for email and marketing consent (GDPR policy) to all your registrants when they register. Best of all, once they do consent, they never see the consent page again, making all their future registrations with you seamless. The letters GDPR never looked so good on a screen! Enhanced Video & Audio: We have increased video resolutions and audio bit rates to even higher levels! That's nerd speak for you and your attendees will have a smoother, more crystal clear experience every time you run a webinar.

Add Custom Email Notifications: Our email notifications have been updated with an improved user experience and design. Here are just some of the highlights:

  • Send new emails to targeted groups like all registrants, attendees, or non-attendees only

  • Send emails at a specific time relative to the webinar date and time. For example, "3 days after the webinar ends" or "2 hours before the webinar starts"

  • Trigger emails to be sent immediately

  • Send up to 10 custom emails per webinar in addition to the default emails

  • Easily deactivate default emails

  • Reset your email back to defaults

A New & Improved Co-Host Invite Experience: With your feedback, as well as a ton of research and testing, we've made it even easier for your co-hosts to accept invites and gain studio access.

A new, modern default avatar for you and your attendees: When you and your attendees participate in the chat and questions, their avatar is no longer a slumped shoulder default avatar. It's colorful with the first letter of their name- making it more personal and distinct!

Detailed data now available for your polls: When you export your Polls CSV file from the Statistics area for your webinar, you can see not only the percentages and how many people voted for each answer, you can also now see who exactly voted for what.

Email Integrations: You can now send your webinar registrants straight to your CRM tool. Here are guides for reference:

Embed a registration form on your website: You wanted the ability to add your custom registration form to your website. This is now available for free webinars!

Q&A Time Stamping: When an attendee clicks on a question, they will go to the part of the replay where you answer the question!

Total Replay Control: Your attendees can now hit Play, Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause or go Full Screen with your webinar replay.

Replays for Live Series Webinars: You asked for replays for series webinars. Replays for Live Series are now available.

Use a Replay for Automated Webinars and More: Along with YouTube videos you can now use webinar Replays for Automated webinars, for Recorded Series Webinars and for Hybrid webinars too.

Start Broadcast Pop-Up Warning: We do not want you to start the webinar before you are ready! You will see a pop-up if you try to start the broadcast more than 5 minutes early! 

Thank You Page Forwarding: You can now send attendees to your own thank you page! You can add a tracking pixel here, videos, a special thank you message, a downloadable for the webinar or even an up-sell. The choices are endless!

Removed "Powered by WebinarNinja" from page footer: We removed the "Powered by WebinarNinja" from the bottom of your Registration and Thank You Pages for an even cleaner design.

Registration & Live Attendee Lists in the Studio: You can see who is registered or attending live at any moment. You can even click on their name to reveal email and block options. You can also easily search for registrants and attendees to find them in a second.

Save Email Text as Default for Each Webinar Type: We now have a new feature that will allow you to save the content of a particular email notification as default.

Improved Avatar Upload Feature: We refreshed our Avatar Upload feature to allow you to upload several avatar photos. You can choose which photo you'd like to use for your account with one click at any time. 

New Quick Registration Process: Registrants can now register in seconds by only providing their name and email. No need to create an account!

Run webinars on Apple's Safari: WebinarNinja runs on Safari 11 on macOS High Sierra.

Attend Webinars on ALL Mobile Devices (Including iPhones + iPads): Attendees can watch webinars and interact- chat, ask questions, answer polls and click on offers on mobile devices, including iPhones.

New Clean Login Design For Hosts: We made the login process even easier with a new login design.

Improved Social Sharing: We improved social sharing to display more info about your webinar when it is shared on social media. This includes your webinar splash image.

Start Broadcast Failsafe if Webinar is Not Published. We built a failsafe so you only see the Start Broadcast button in the Studio once your webinar is published. That way, you can only start your broadcast when you're ready to have your webinar go live.


Replays. All live webinars are now available for you and your attendees! Your webinar, will look just like it did live! We let you control if the replay will be available and for how long. You can see our support tutorial here.

Mobile Viewing: Your attendees can now watch a live webinar on their mobile device. Your Polls, Offers, Chat and Questions will look amazing to your attendees on their devices.

Remove Feature Webinars: We have removed Featured Webinars in attendee accounts. Attendees will only see webinars that they signed up for. 

Broadcast 10 minute Failsafe: We understand that things happen - batteries die, internet connections fail, etc. You can restart your webinar for 10 minutes if you leave the webinar for any reason. 

Optional Social Sharing: We added the option to remove the social sharing from your webinar page. You now have control over the social sharing option for your webinar.

Questions / Polls / Offers are Available Before and After your Webinar: You need information from your attendees, before and after the webinar. You can now share the questions / polls and offers with your attendees before, during and after the webinar, as long as they are on your webinar page.

Zapier Integration: You need a way to integrate with different programs, so we created an integration with Zapier! You can learn how to integrate all your favorite apps with WebinarNinja via Zapier with our helpful tutorial here.

Send/Not Send Email Notifications: You want to choose when and how to notify your customers. We now give you the option to choose if you would like a particular email notification to be sent or not sent to your registrants. You can learn more about this new feature in this helpful tutorial.
