Create a Hybrid Webinar

Set up a pre-recorded webinar - during which you can interact with attendees live from behind the scenes.

Updated over a week ago

In a Hybrid webinar, you can chat with attendees, take questions, create polls and offers, and provide handouts while a pre-recorded video plays.

Note: You cannot go live on camera in a Hybrid webinar.

Step 1: From My Webinars, click the blue Create New Webinar button.

Step 2: Select the type of webinar you want. In this case, Hybrid.

Step 3: Fill in the webinar details, starting with a title.

Choose the date and start time and the duration. The default time zone can be changed in Account Settings.

Note: You can continue interacting with attendees even after the video ends. There is no duration limit with a Hybrid webinar.

Step 4: Click Add Video Files to upload a video, or choose one from your library.

Under the Add New Video tab, you can either add a YouTube video or upload your own.

To add a YouTube video, enter its URL on the space provided, then click Add YouTube Video.

Note: The video must be set as unlisted or public on YouTube, not private.

On the next page, enter the video name. If you want to show only a part of the video, set a start and end time. Then click Add Video.

To upload your own file, click Browse Files.

Note: Supported video files are *.webm, *.mov, *.mp4, or *.m4v with a size limit of 2 GB.

On the next page, enter a video name, then click Add Video.

You can also select from previously uploaded videos or past live webinar replays under the Select From Library tab.

Step 5: Click Create Webinar.
